The MyEllevate Procedure
Before your treatment starts, your doctor will inject your area with a local anesthetic to decrease any discomfort you experience during the procedure. This procedure can be done in the office with local or in the OR with anesthesia. MyEllevate is an innovative treatment that tightens loose skin tissue around the face without creating the need for long incisions in most cases. The MyEllevate method uses an ICLED light-guided suture system to guide multiple sutures to the appropriate depth and placement on the face. Your medical professional will weave the tissues and muscles in your face with a suture thread, giving you a more youthful look. This treatment typically takes around one hour to complete. This procedure can be beneficial on its own or when partnered with liposuction and/or energy-based technologies for skin tightening.
MyEllevate Aftercare and Recovery
After the procedure is complete, you will need to recover for a short period of time. The recovery time after the procedure lasts around four days, during which you will be instructed to wear a chin strap. Common side effects include swelling, redness, bruising, discomfort, tightness, and dimpling. All side effects should clear up within a few days.
