What is Juvéderm Vollure®?
Juvéderm Vollure® is a hyaluronic-acid-based formula designed to smooth moderate to severe facial wrinkles and folds in individuals 21 years and older. Facial wrinkles may include nasolabial folds, which extend around the nose and mouth, and marionette lines, which extend from the corners of the mouth down to the chin. Smoothing these lines and folds can improve the appearance of the face while still allowing the patient to retain natural facial movement.

The Juvéderm Vollure® Treatment
To begin treatment, Dr. Aya-ay will gently cleanse the treatment area and may offer a topical numbing cream to ensure your comfort. However, Juvederm Vollure® also contains lidocaine to minimize any discomfort. Juvéderm Vollure® will then be injected directly into the pre-determined area using an ultra-fine needle. Treatment time may vary depending on the number of injections being administered.
Juvéderm Vollure® Aftercare
Following treatment, results will be immediately noticeable and will continue to improve as swelling resides over time. Mild swelling, redness, and bruising may occur, which can often be improved with the use of a cold pack. It is recommended that patients avoid strenuous exercise, excessive sun exposure, and the consumption of alcohol for the first 24 hours after treatment to minimize the risk of side effects. Dr. Aya-Ay will provide patients with aftercare instructions to ensure optimal results. Juvéderm Vollure® results can last up to 18 months.
