What is Juvéderm Volux®?
Due to aging or weight loss, the jawline can become soft and undefined. Juvéderm Volux® is ideal for patients with moderate to severe loss of jawline definition due to aging. This filler adds volume to improve the shape and structure of the lower face, providing long-lasting definition of the jawline for patients 21 years and older. Both men and women can benefit from this filler for a more youthful appearance.

The Juvéderm Volux®? Treatment
To begin treatment, Dr. Aya-ay will gently cleanse the treatment area. While Juvéderm Volux® contains lidocaine to minimize any discomfort, an additional topical numbing cream may be provided on request. Juvéderm Volux® will then be injected directly into the jawline area using an ultra-fine needle. Overall treatment time may vary depending on the number of injections being administered.
Juvéderm Volux® Aftercare
Following the Juvéderm Volux® treatment, results will be immediately noticeable and will continue to improve as swelling resides over time. Temporary mild swelling, bruising, and redness may occur. It is recommended that patients avoid strenuous exercise, excessive sun exposure, and the consumption of alcohol for the first 24 hours after treatment to minimize the risk of side effects. Dr. Aya-Ay will provide patients with specific aftercare instructions to ensure optimal results. With optimal treatment, results can last up to one year.
